Quantious team members take on FITC Toronto 2024!

Lisa’s FITC Experience:

Thank you, Shawn Pucknell and the incredible FITC team, for organizing such a phenomenal event! The amazing FITC staff who pulled everything off without a hitch. The lively discussions, coffee conversations, networking lunch — and of course, the parties — were fantastic.

Our panel on “Collaborative Creativity: Human-AI Partnerships” was a resounding success, with a packed room buzzing with energy and curiosity. A huge THANK YOU to the brilliant panelists — Mario Klingemann -Quasimondo, Chris Zacharias — imgix, Frincy Clement — Women in AI, Martin Pagh Ludvigsen — Goodby Silverstein & Partners — for their insights and thought-provoking perspectives on the transformative potential of human-AI collaboration in creative fields. It was a pleasure to return to the FITC stage after a long hiatus — a full-circle moment, as FITC was the first conference where I ever spoke many (many) years ago.

It was great to spend a few days ‘filling the well’ with our superstar Program Lead, Liz Covert — and to meet/reconnect with brilliant humans such as @JessieMcGuire@KrysBlackwood@JasonTheodor@AlejandroRMA@JaredFicklin@StephenMartell, and @GrahamBudd — just to name a few! I’m already looking forward to next year’s FITC and the exciting developments that lie ahead in the realm of human-AI creative collaboration. The future is brimming with possibility!”

Liz’s FITC Experience:

“Going to FITC Toronto 2024 was a game-changer for me, especially when it came to understanding artificial intelligence. Overall the conference gave me real insights into how AI is being used in different fields and the ethical questions we need to consider. By the end of the event, I felt much more confident about using AI to enhance my own work. What really stood out for me at FITC Toronto 2024 were the sessions about making AI more human-centered. I loved the talks that focused on how to blend empathy, ethics, and user-friendly design into AI systems. Lisa’s panel “Collaborative Creativity: Human-AI Partnerships” is a great example. These sessions highlighted the need to keep a human touch in a world that’s becoming more automated, making sure technology enhances our interactions rather than replacing them. It really hit home for me that the future of AI should be about prioritizing human well-being and connection.”
