Simone Creator Spotlight
Continuing with our creator spotlight series, we are highlighting Simone, a “a boundary-pushing creative studio that knows what it takes to make a real difference.” We spoke with Simone Co-Founder & Client Business Director, Florine Bourret, for insight into some of Simone’s projects and how they approach their creative process.
How did you get started?
“It all started 5 years ago, when Tom suggested to Coco and Flo that they could work together because of their complementary skills. What was first a side project, we all had our own jobs, slowly became a company proudly named after our grandmother Simone (for the little story Coco and Flo are brother and sister and Tom is their cousin).”
Can you walk us through the process of creating an experience, from concept to implementation?
“We first start with the creative phase, sit down with the client to understand the brief and objectives. We come up with moodboards and several AR concepts for them to pick from. Once we’ve agreed on this, we start the production. During that phase we share several test links with the client so that they can try the effect and give us feedback if needed. Last but not least, we publish the effect on the client’s profile.”
How do you ensure that your experience is user-friendly and accessible to a wide range of users, regardless of their technical proficiency?
“While testing, we make sure the experience works for any kind of device and make sure to have a wide range of people testing.”
What are a few related projects that you have worked on and would like to feature?
JUSTICE
“This spring, we collaborated with Coachella and the legendary DJ duo Justice for their highly anticipated album HYPERDRAMA!
Our team was honoured to be approached by Coachella to create a unique experience for Justice's return to the desert. We conceptualised and brought to life a series of Justice-branded reflective Blimps that floated above the festival grounds, capturing the essence of their music and the electrifying atmosphere of Coachella.
What made this collaboration truly special was our attention to detail. We meticulously time-stamped the Blimps appearances to match the different phases of the day – from the golden hues of sunrise to the vibrant colours of sunset, and the mesmerising glow of nightfall.
To ensure a seamless integration with the live environment, our team captured 360 HDRI maps onsite, guaranteeing that the Blimps blended flawlessly with the dynamic festival backdrop.
This collaboration embodies the spirit of creative innovation and the power of bringing together music, art, and technology.”
DIOR
“Our latest collaboration with Dior is magical and in time for the Christmas season. As enchanting as ever we worked with them to bring to life the facade of the historic boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
The idea represents iconic elements and events of the maison through small scenes. By adding a digital dimension to these scenes they look even more incredible, but are also educational.
Through AR Dior are inspiring and encouraging people to be interactive and connect with the brand by scanning a QR code outside the store. The effect unlocks stars that appear in the windows and by tapping on them the users can discover more about the stories of Christian Dior. Its nostalgic, festive and aligns beautifully with the brand.”

FENDI
“We’ve collaborated with Fendi for their ‘Holiday Season 2024’ campaign.
Featuring Fendi lettering inspired by Murano glass and traditional decorations these AR experiences brought to life a stunning design reimagining a 1984 Karl Lagerfeld sketch to shape a festive tree with iconic elements. Together we collaborated on two effects - one specifically for the London New Bond Street boutique focusing on bringing the facade to life and one for all to enjoy.
By bringing interactivity and connection through the experiences, the brand created a sprinkling of Christmas magic outside their store in London while also allowing users at home to experience creating their own Fendi tree. By directing users in London with a street QR code it created a festive buzz outside the store and beautiful scenes appeared in the sky leaving the user feeling totally immersed.”

LOUIS VUITTON
“This Christmas we worked with Louis Vuitton to bring the most magical carousel home for all to enjoy.
We created two experiences - one in world mode, one in selfie and both showcased the stunning design honouring Louis Vuitton’s heritage, infused with fantasy and sophistication, intended to make this holiday season memorable. This haute couture attraction blends nostalgia and glamour to celebrate the art of travel, Louis Vuitton style extending the magic of the holidays.”

HUBLOT
“This December, we’ve worked with Hublot for the launch of the new Samuel Ross third edition Hublot watch.
The reveal of this collaboration with iconic British Artist and Designer Samuel Ross took place during Miami Art Week.
We created two experiences that enable the user to interact with the watch that is combining raw natural mineral and and refined technology driven materials.”

TIFFANY & Co.
“We worked with Tiffany & Co. to create an AR experience which mimics the glittering façades and discovers the House’s famed Christmas windows, brought to life with the iconic Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock. An encrusted diamond curtain is lifted to allow the user to capture dazzling content.
We have been very grateful to work on this beautiful project and to have added even more sparkle. By creating an effect that produces shareable content engaging users all over the world to experience and send the magic of Tiffany and Co. at a very special time of year.”
